Cabinet cooling with AirSTREAM system

The components that used to design control cabinets are becoming more and more compact even though their switching capacity is increasing. This also means that the thermal loss rate is higher. Heat also builds up in the standard cable ducts. Hotspots are created. Standard climate control features in control cabinets are often not able to dissipate these hotspots and cool air does not get to where it is needed. The consequences could result in frequent failures and machine downtimes.

LÜTZE's AirSTREAM wiring system offers a comprehensive solution for an even climate inside the control cabinet.

Even cabinet climate with LÜTZE AirBLOWER

The LÜTZE AirBLOWER eliminates the air layers in the control cabinet to create an even climate. A control cabinet equipped with an AirSTREAM frame cools down more efficiently. Practical tests have demonstrated impressive results. The AirBLOWER makes it possible to reduce the mean temperature in the control cabinet by up to 10°C.

AirSTREAM Compact

AirSTREAM Compact is used in smaller, compact cabinets in which there is little space in the depth.

The rail profiles on the AirSTREAM Compact are not carried with brackets but with supports. These are available in various lengths so that different depths can be achieved.

Thanks to the flexible design, more space can be generated in the control cabinet, and time can be saved during installation, modification and wiring.

Control cabinet wiring

AirSTREAM wiring system works according to a new design principle and stands out thanks to construction and operation benefits!

The high-strength aluminium frames of the AirSTREAM for state-of-the-art control cabinet installation and wiring are very compact because they integrate the wiring trunking into the frame itself. Similar to the original LSC system, the wiring in the AirSTREAM is installed comfortably from the front.

Dispensing with cable trunking allows the compact installation of several components within narrow dimensional constraints. Also, cooling air always circulates the parts and reliably discharges generated heat.
